The Business Incubator: Economic Gardening program focuses on companies and the entrepreneurs that are already in a community and delivers a balanced approach to economic development. We accept 8 CEOs and conduct monthly CEO Roundtables and provide 30 hours of technical assistance to each company. Additionally, program enrollees will be assisted with working capital needs as they seek to expand their company’s capacity and staffing needs. After a review process, accepted entrepreneurs are categorized as either in seed, start-up, second, or accelerated stage levels and provided a tailored program according to their level and industry.
The Economic Gardening: Business Incubator Assistance Program is housed in a 1,488 sq. ft multi-purpose technology and collaborative workspace located on the second floor of the facility. The space is equipped with 8 personal-computing workstations with Microsoft Windows 10 and Office 2016 applications, plus printer and scanner capability. The Microsoft Windows software includes word processing, statistics, spreadsheets and database management. A variety of graphics and website-creation software programs are also available.
